TTT - the Quilts for Kids Edition

Swim, Bike, Quilt

I was a little too slow to jump on board Katie's amazing 100 Quilts for Kids campaign last year but I'm determined to contribute something in 2012.  With the ability to donate to a charity of your choice, there is really no excuse not to be involved.  Well, there are actually lots of valid reasons, but none currently apply to me so I'd better get a-sewing.  ;)

Firstly, though, I need to decide on a design.  I've been ogling over so many inspiring quilts of late that I'm now overwhelmed with ideas.  You people are truly amazing!  So, in the interests of trying to narrow down the field, here are some kiddie quilts that I am currently loving.

Hopscotch quilt by Love Affair With My Brother

Elliot's Space Invaders quilt by Oh, Fransson!

ABC 123
ABC 123 quilt by Fresh Lemons

Siblings Together quilt top by Our Busy Little Bunch

So, what do you think?  Will you be participating in this year's 100 Quilts for Kids campaign?  If so, what design ideas have you been contemplating?  Feel free to confuse me even more with some great ideas!

Thursday Think Tank

I'm hoping to link up to Thursday Think Tank over at Becca's.  The gorgeous Mrs MRL has recently welcomed a third daughter into the family... so if she's too busy to post today (I wouldn't be surprised!) at least pop over to say "congrats!" and see pics of her adorable bundle of joy, Ms O.  Aww!

  1. Oh look, it's you again... ;o) I donated a quilt top to a kids charity earlier this year, and also went halves on 2 siblings together quits, but i think I'm going to have to skip this one as I just don't have the time with the million and one other commitments I've made o.O Have fun with it though - should we expect an update in September? :oD

  5. I also love the Hopscotch quilt. Unfortunately with I click on the caption under the picture of the quilt it sends me to something pornographic. I do not see any contact information. Anyone have any suggestions for seeing the quilt pattern?
