TTT - the Lovesick Edition

Thursday Think Tank

*** WARNING: this post may be soppy and pathetic to some readers ***

Today's Thursday Think Tank is dedicated to the main man in my life, Mr C, as today he is all I have been thinking about.  Regular readers will know (because I've continuously whinged about it) that I am currently living the "single" life as my beloved is travelling abroad.  I miss him terribly and am counting down the days until he returns (only 12 sleeps now!).  So, to honour him, and the fun we have had together over the years, here are a few pics of the two of us.

Over the last 2.bit years we have been lucky enough to have had some amazing experiences, adventures and lots of laughs.  These include, clockwise from the top left -

Dressing up as hotdogs for a friend's "H" themed housewarming (just ridiculous...)
Travelling to various wineries throughout the Barossa, South Australia (nom nom nom)
Seeing U2 live in concert (soooo good!)
Gardening, gardening, gardening (this pic is actually our first ever together so is extra special)
Frocking up (me, not him) and celebrating close friends getting married (x2... and many more)
Dressing up as TMNT for Mr C's 30th birthday bash (the other two turtles also made an appearance)
Travelling to gorgeous Kalbarri, Western Australia (with a great friend... road trip!)
Being stupid whilst waiting for our taxi to dinner on our last weekend before he flew out (the norm...)
Sunset sailing off Fremantle (windy but fun!)

So there you have it.  A little snapshot of our lives.  Ahh... makes me smile.

If you are lucky enough to have the one that you love within reach now... don't forget to give them a hug, a kiss and tell them that you love them.  It will no doubt make their day.

And to Mr C -  I miss you babe and am looking forward to having lots more crazy times together in the weeks, months, years, decades to come.  xx

This post is linked to Thursday Think Tank with making rebecca lynne.  This week is being hosted by the gorgeous Lucy of Charm About You so be sure to jump across and check out her... disaster.  ;)

  1. Hi, Have just found Missy Mac Creations via TTT and am glad I did. 12 sleeps or possibly 11 sleeps now, will pass quickly. I'm late writing my TTT this week, so it will happen (I hope) on Friday.

  2. Aw, I totally "get" why you think of it as "12 sleeps" to go. My hubby travels abroad 4 or 5 times a year--the days aren't so bad because you can fill them up with kids, activities, etc. The nights, however...they drag! And I sleep horribly without him. By the time he gets home, I'm exhausted and grumpy! LOL (HUGE kudos to military wives out there!) Here's hoping it goes fast for you!

  3. You two are so cute!! Not much longer and your little hotdog will be home!

  4. Aw, I hope he can read this. :o) Down to 11 sleeps now? Love the costume pics, and looks like you've had alot of great times together.

  5. Oh that is so cute! I just love those hotdog costumes!!! My hubbie has been away this week and is away next week too so I'm going to make the most of this weekend :)
Thanks for sharing the pictures, what lovely memories!
I'm going to go experiment with my 3D disaster now ;)

  6. You look so cute together! Only 11 more sleeps? See, how time went by? I am so jealous. I have to sleep ... wait, I am counting ... 45 more times. Luckily time is flying right now and I have a million things to do. I went to see U2 twice already. it was awesome!

  7. What a lovely post! It makes me smile too :)

  8. awww bless - hope the time goes quickly

  9. Aww! He'll be back soon! I clicked over from TTT :D

  10. so sweet..I am glad to hear that Mr. going to be back near you again very soon. I know how you feel since my boyfriend lives on the other side of the world (he is in the U.S. and I'm in Thailand). I am very happy for you. :)

BTW, thank you very much for stopping by my blog. I am your new follower. :))
